It all depends on you( individuals) each and every one of us knows whom he/she is. The way we take God in our hearts 💕 and how we dedicate ourselves to him is individualistic ( PERSONAL) THAT'S WHY I HAVE ALWAYS SAID IT THAT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH WE LOVE HIM AND VALUE/ CHERISH HIM. Like father Abraham, I believe he valued God above all things in his life, I guess that was why he couldn't withhold Isaac from God, when God demanded for him as a sacrifice from Abraham.

To me, the words of this hymn describe something Christians aspire to be but don't reach in this life. A Christian's renewed will genuinely desires to be fully surrendered, but we never attain it in this life. This hymn expresses a genuine longing that is inside the Christian heart.
