+x x i've always thought as he aged his naturally high voice gets lower. to compensate he has developed an almost falsetto. It also sounds like he has a bit of a lisp, that may not be the proper term for his speech impediment. Either it doesn't show on the old studio recordings or its getting more pronounced with time. I'm just glad they're still playing.

+Fran Arauz i saw them a couple years back and his acne was really bad. he had to constantly wipe his face down between songs. it looks much better now

Apparently his old singing style strained his voice quite a lot. I do still like his new style though... But obviously not as much as the old voice:s

+x x Around 2003, Chris kept complaining of blowing out his vocal chords at shows, so he devloped a softer singing voice, which we all originally heard on in reverie. he tried to bring his old voice back in 2006 on "sound the alarm" and again on "under the boards" but it seems he went back to his "in reverie" voice. bummer, its not as good
