The oil still pours even still. Anointing in the life of such an amazing song. Has touched my broken heart. Has been so many years gone by but standing in the kitchen of my apt tonight praying for my Mother who has had a stroke many miles away from me this song some how has stirred my soul for her comfort and mine. The oil still pours. Thankyou.

I had the privilege to join a worship festival in BC, Canada, in the mid nineties, with Brian Doerksen, Carl Tuttle to name a few more, and that song from Kevin has never left me! Because of this particular song I knew he would be alright, even as he went through his self inflicted darkness. He’s my Brother and eternity will have us rejoicing in the One who we longed for.

I attended Kevin prosch in Australia in 1994 conference.I had just lost my mum suddenly, we were at church when we got the call. I had organised this Come to the Light conference with my church.Because I had lost mum, I took a bit of a breakdown.I remember walking up to Kevin and saying how much his worship has helped me , yet at this time was a complete mess .He looked at me with pure commpasion compassion

Kevin is an awesome, gentle man of God. He stayed at our church’s ranch, and participated in our worship. He didn’t try taking over the band. That was what impressed me most. I spoke with him many times about different situations I had to deal with as a worship leader, and he would sit and talk and listen. He was truly a pleasure to be around. God bless you, sorry for your loss. You’ll be with them soon. Enjoy life while you have it here on earth, in this plane of existence. Hopefully we’ll meet in heaven someday.

This is quite possibly my all-time favorite Kevin Prosch song. Love the instrament ensemble, the sounds, the lyrics, and especialy love that all of this is true about God. Beauty for ashes, love for hate, strength for weakness, and is a Father to all of us lost children who are now His own.

I loved this song back at Kansas City fellowship years ago… I was there from 1988-1990… the worship was like none I’ve ever experienced since. The presence of the Lord would just fill that indoor soccer arena!

I had the great Fortune of having Kevin Prosch present and singing this song in my wedding in 2002 my wedding was at the Arboretum at the Crystal Cathedral it was amazing my reception was worship! And Joann McFatter and Kevin Prosch worshiped at my wedding total dream come true. I wish them both well. There was such a gifting and anointing on the type of worship that was flowing out of Anaheim Vineyard and other streams of worship. The 90s were an incredible time!❤

@@johncbeer I knew Kevin. He stayed at our Vineyards ranch. He’s a wonderful person. I learned so much from him. I was there when this cd was recorded. It was an amazing day. The Tubbs brothers are amazing musicians. Don’t judge people from one meeting. Try not to judge people at all. That’s not our job. If I judged people from one meeting, most would all be classified as dickheads that will help my life in a negative manner. Very few people impress me, the ones that do, usually have more disappointments in their character and still have a negative effect. Just from your statement… I wouldn’t like you either. Don’t be so impressed with yourself.

@@bsrodeo7s That's ridiculous. I think you're confusing "wonderful person" with "charasmatic". I don't give a fuck if you aren't impressed with me and I didn't say anything to suggest you should be. A guy like Kevin on tour "ministering" to people and asking for donations has no business doing what he did.

@@bsrodeo7s Just realized this is a different thread than I thought it was. You lack context. My anger is based on a conversation I had with him after one of his "concerts". That man absolutely should not be allowed near the public.

Everything that Kevin Prosch has done is simply the voice of God speaking through the talent and anointing that He has placed upon Kevin. Despite his sin & subsequent divorce, God has shown His total & complete forgiveness by restoring Kevin after many long, hard years of returning to the Lord. Hosea 6:3. The album after Kevin's struggle, "Palanquin," is perhaps the most powerful he's put out. I've been in tears listening to "Come To The Light" on CD which I found at Hastings used for .99 cents!

Yes God does not throw away his bought and fully purchased )) many have stumbled , look at the price people pay for their bad choices and all those involved God is so much bigger and mercifully forgiving , the human nature flesh will never understand it ,when we are faithless He is faithful because he cannot deny Himself )))) Kevin all is well with his soul )))

I still have this cd. Really. And a few others. We got to worship live with Kevin in Reno NV in the early ‘90s. Right around the time God began moving me in hand drums and many other percussion instruments. Kevin and the percussionist in his band were so submitted to the Father’s heart and played what they heard in the heavenlies. I am still doing the same thing and I am praying fervently for the heart of His rhythm through percussion interests to be revived. Also, check out the Black Peppercorns. Kevin’s band.

You can get this CD, remastered only as of 11/05/13, on Amazon. Come To The Light is also on Amazon, both for cheap, like under $10.00 I think. Ignore the Come To The Light that's priced over $100! Perhaps that CD's owner isn't aware it's available for WAY cheaper and that asking over $100.00 is simply UNGODLY and SIN! I got Come To The Light 3 days ago at Hastings Music Store (Waco, TX.) used, perfect condition, for .99 CENTS! I've wanted it for a long time on CD! Thanks, God!
