Great video. I’m heading to WDW in October and will be going to Savis. I am pretty well decided on a Sith style lightsaber but these extra items are amazing. I am travelling from Canada and have very limited funds. Can I get your advice on what I should spend my money on (ie kyber crystals, holocron, wayfinder, etc.) if I only had an extra $100 to spend?

Both the holocrons and the wayfinder really require crystals to get their full benefit. I would pick either one of holocrons or the wayfinder, and then get several crystals which can also be used with the lightsaber.

Probably not until August, but possibly May. Savi’s will always be on the agenda though. I’ve done it twice so far this year. Such a a fun experience.

A staff you say at the end. Do you mean like a double lightsaber like Dart Maul's, or do they have a staff too. Probably a stupid question, but I feel like I had to ask.

A double lightsaber. The coupler is a neat accessory, but the result makes for a pretty heavy lightsaber.

Unless they changed things the Savi's Workshop and Legacy Lightsaber blades are NOT interchangeable and i do not recommend you putting your Savi's blade in a Legacy hilt or vice-versa...

Currently, the Savi's blades are the same as the original Legacy blades at Galaxy's Edge with the exception of the length. The blades they sell for the original Legacy hilts come in 26" and 36" lengths. The Savi's ones are 32". Otherwise they are the same, though I think the 36" blades look better in the Legacy hilts. The blade in the video that I'm using in the Vader Legacy hilt is a Savi's blade. However, the new Asohka and Yoda hilts do use a completely new type of blade, and are not compatible with the Savi's blades. My guess is that all of the Legacy hilts will go that way in the future, but who knows? So, unless they change the Savi's hilts in the future, to match, the cross-compatible blades may be a thing of the past.

I built mine in 2019, and got legacy hilts since then. The blades are interchangeable, and have always been to my knowledge. You might be confusing the legacy blades with something like the force fx blades.

They always have been changeable it’s a Disney blade that’s their design works on both legacy and savis workshop it’s always been that way since day one
