If we're being honest with ourselves, Atreus needs some therapy.

PRO TIP >> When fighting Valkyries... remember to block often. Defeating Valkyries is about having "good defense" and being patient. Because that fight is a marathon. Not a sprint. You have to wear them down, over time. And each Valkyrie gets stronger & harder to beat than the one before it. So whenever you are not attacking them, always keep blocking (it makes a HUGE difference). Don't use any runic attacks that have very looong animations... or they will own you. And no matter what happens, don't panic. Always expect victory. Because if you panic and start to 'button mash'... they will own you... because Valkyries tend to counterattack the buttons you press. So be deliberate with your attacks & be vigilant with your defense. Be quick, but NEVER in a rush. Lastly, whenever a Valkyrie levitates briefly to launch an aerial attack, shoot them down with Atreus' arrows (or throw your Axe at them) immediately. You only have a small "window of opportunity" to disrupt an aerial attack before it happens + knock them back to the ground + stun them... giving you time to charge them & counterattack. But if you miss the chance to disrupt the aerial attack, ALWAYS block or dodge immediately. Just some advice. Take it or Leave it.

On episode 25 I really struggle with a Valkyrie, and through the struggle I was able to memorize the move sets which are the same or similar to most of the other Valkyries. I am much more confident and a valkyrie fight now than I was when I made this episode. Bring them on!

@@kabvrv - Sounds good! Can’t wait to see that episode!! Oh yeah, almost forgot… be sure to use any Enchantments that will increase will your movement. Those will enable you to dodge Valkyrie attacks faster & run faster, during combat. It might not seem like much of an increase at first, but that little bit of extra foot speed really makes a big difference whenever you need an extra 1/10th of a second to dodge an attack & avoid taking any damage.

That actually would have been fantastic advice for ep 25. I think I state that the stomp attack is broken because I was so frustrated with it. It felt like I only had a few frames to time the dodge correctly. Maybe I just needed more speed.
