Saving Big Lonely Doug

An outtake from the feature documentary "Last of the Ancient Rainforest." In the Coastal Temperate Rainforest of British Columbia, Canada a timber scout encountered a massive and ancient Douglas Fir tree that was so majestic he made the fateful decision to spare it. That tree, "Big Lonely Doug" now stands as symbol of what happened to that forest and how things can change in the future.
