It's heartbreaking to think what that dog had gone through before being rescued by Eldad. Eldad is an amazing person, and the fact that he spent time sitting with the dog to gain his trust, while in the dark and in a sewer, just speaks volumes about him. He truly has the grace of God within him. God Bless Hope For Paws! God Bless Bitty! My heart was so happy to see him at the end of the video, enjoying human love and canine friendship! I hope and trust he was quickly adopted into his loving forever home! And Frankie, too!

The dog's gender is clearly visible from the camera angle which means Eldad could either check the footage later or, if someone else is filming it, ask the person filming it what the dog's gender is. Breaks my heart. Dog most likely was left off someplace by somebody who didn't want it anymore. Someone in my neighborhood abandoned a sick and declawed cat to fend for herself after having the cat for 8 years. I took her in and she's been the BEST cat in the world. One person's trash is another person's treasure. People tell me I should have called the police since abandoning pets to fend for themselves is illegal in most jurisdictions. Too late now after 3 years but I'll know next time to call the police if I see someone abandoning their pet to fend for themselves.
@kaylahood50818 жыл бұрын
+Annie Keller if you live in a big city... good luck getting the police to come out to do anything. In San Antonio, I found a large, friendly dog that had been recently dropped off in a HEB parking lot (she was searching the cars in the lot as if she lost something... her owner). I took her to the Pets Alive center next to our Zoo and they said they would not take her... and they recommended that I take her to Animal Care Services (SA Animal Control). They said that she would be euthanized in 72 hours if no one adopted her within that time, because they were completely full. Luckily my biological father took her in and named her Brownie. I was a college student living in a dorm at the time, so I couldn't keep her. I wasn't about to let her get killed, though. Sometimes humans are terrible creatures.

people breed pugs for cuteness and playful companion but sometimes they never realize that they are giving a playful and grateful spirit a painful unforgiving body :( their flat noses make pugs have trouble breathing and wrinkly skin makes pugs have skin conditions and I forgot that third thing... :P take care of dogs and think again if your ready for one! choose the dog of your type not just because they look cute, cool and funny but if you want to breed a pug... you be ready for medical care that probably cost a lot but if you have a pug right now you better take care of it because once your attached to your pet... Together forever and forever it is!

Alfredo C Animal welfare is not a partisan issue. I know some republicans that care about animals and some who don't. I know some democrats that care about animals and some who don't. I honestly would not give either side the edge on animal rights. I would give the dems the edge on protecting the environment, but not on helping animals.

ZenyattaFan1 Good for you. I can't possibly know what you know, I can only know what I know and I know Psfanboy_43's plan "if he were president" would require allocating tax-payer money to a SOCIAL cause. I know conservatives are against food stamps, unemployment insurance, welfare and the Affordable Healthcare Act. I also know how to add 1 plus 1. So, I'm totally uninterested in who or what you know and stick to my original statement; "the republican controlled congress would call the dogs welfare queens and insist the money be given to GE, Lockheed Martin, Halliburton and Koch Industries."

I donate $59 monthly to a local senior dog rescue organization, which is the best I can do. It fills my heart when I see these sad, depressed dogs change into happy, playful rescues. Hope for Paws and the other rescue organizations worldwide are doing wonderful work.

I personally prefer the company of dogs to humans. once while I was in a automotive salvage yard. one of the scrap yard dogs chained to one of the cars broke free and charged at me. I lowered myself and put my hands out the dog could not stop licking my hands and wagging his tail. the owner of the scrap yard was furious. that I did not run for my life. I explained to him I'd rather run from you. then a dog..
