Syndontis cats are commonly referred to as upside down catfish, even though there are only one or two species that are actually upside down. They have a strange habit of swimming upside down, so if that jet black cat is indeed a sundown I, it could just be normal for it.

i think its a syno but it could also be an upside down mystus. i have a few synos myself and although they do tend to move upside down its not a constant thing. the upside down mystus are upside down more

Hi Bobby! You have done a wonderful job. I bet if you went back and placed all of traps you have at night you would get a lot with how the pond is smaller now. Is there any way you can save some of the Lilly pads too? They would be so pretty when in bloom in the big pond you put the bass in. Speak with the contractor, find out what the plan is for the ponds. Perhaps they save the ponds as part of the landscaping. They may even allow you to return to fish more. Their concern would be your safety-liability and possible vandalism. Show them your channel, you just never know how it could go.

Great job Bobby. It's such a shame the developers didn't see the value in keeping the ponds, to enhance the beauty of whatever they are planning to build there. Love ur channel and what you do! Awesome...I noticed you can't seem to find a dip net that doesn't just simply bend or break after 1 or 2 uses! You should consider modifying a stronger one. I would suggest bringing the materials or simply your net or nets to any local machine shop explain what you want and the problems you have, and they would make you something that you can use a lot longer and probably be better! It may cost a few dollars but you'd save in the long run! Just a suggestion, keep on saving fish! Loving the videos.

Silver dollar fish are amazing I have 4 and talk to them every day. they actually come to the side of the tank and actively pay attention to me even when not being fed. And yes, they will watch tv so if you can, have a tv in their line of sight, lol

Have you ever tried electric stunning on these lakes that are being filled in it only temporary stuns them to the surface then you can net them out in larger numbers quicker saving more mate 👍
