Saving lives at sea with an crewless lifeboat

An autonomous lifeboat is being tested in a bid to save many more lives at sea.
The crewless vessel aims to overcome the main obstacle faced by rescue missions - the risk to the rescuers themselves. By eliminating the need for a crew, not only can we prevent further loss of life, but we can also ensure the safety of those who embark on the mission.
Equipped with an advanced #ai detection system, the lifeboat can identify individuals in distress and safely lift them out of the water using a conveyor belt.
