Tom Okoth Odhiambo (54) was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer on June, 23rd, 2003. On September 26th, 2023, his brother Mohamed Amin and a team of friends were able to get some funds for his Colostomy surgery. Mr. Tom who began his Chemotherapy on October 9th,2023 has had challenges with access to proper medication while living in pain and jobless with only a few friends to count on as his brother can't handle everything alone. Access to proper colostomy bags and enough food has been scarce without the help of goodwill and experts like @agallo_kwenda Sally Agalo Kwenda a Community Health Volunteer (C.H.V) running an Organisation known as @kenyaostomyassociation Kenya Ostomy and a survivor for 13 years who showed up to support Tom with Stoma wound care and changing his colostomy bags.
