Saving Miku! (How to untangle a long pigtail tips and tricks)

Just some things that I found useful when trying to untangle my miku wig. It is a cheap wig, but I was able to save it with these methods I learned.

I tried brushing it from the bottom to the top and it just scrunched up and tangled even more, unless it was cause I was holding the top

Thank you so much I’m not even joking when I say I tried to comb it cause it looked a bit frizzy and then I had Tried soaking it for a bit in softener and water and sprayed it with it and I use an American girl doll brush ( since it was the closest thing on hand and I’m just starting cosplay discreetly cause it’s something I’ve always wanted to try and do and I promised myself the first cosplay would be miku) but yea it’s been a disaster it’s 2:30 am I started around 8 so , Thank you so much your a lifesaver!

Tips to keep your pigtails from falling off or sliding?

Bunny Costello id say to make sure the wig cap is tightened down. (Not too much thou) and pin it to your own hair. Once that is good. I like to clip my pigtails through the wig cap so it grips on my own hair. You can also pin the clip to the base from the top of the pigtail, clipping the fabrics that hold the wig fibers together. If that makes sense.

hi! my pigtails are too heavy and my wig keeps sliding back(?), what should i do?

i recommend pinning the wig directly to ur head. theres other tutorials on here for that. i usually have my pigtails as close to the sides of my head to balance them so the wig doesnt slide back.

You can also use any other detangler, I find mane and tail works best because its a silicon base.
