Joas, My husband is a Army Veteran and he has alot of metal in his body especially his back , he has a metal cage and pins holding his spine in place , he has a titaum implant in his foot but with him cool rainy weather really makes it hard on him especially early of a morning so just keep moving one step at a time ..... Some days are better than others but I'm thankful I still have him with me today.... I know your family is thankful to still have u with them also.... Much Love from Kentucky ❤

I have had a Harvest Right medium machine since the Pandemic. I freeze dry so many daily used kitchen ingredients like onion, garlic, bell peppers, mushrooms, mixed veggies ( frozen bagged ), peas, corn, carrots. I keep them in canning jars with OA on my ingredients shelving ( aka pantry). I measure them out and cover with boiling water while I prep the rest of my soup, casserole or whatever recipe I am cooking. Then I add in the veggies after they have soaked about 10-15 minutes. It helps to have items like that preserved and not needing to have them in their fresh form, estimated the winter months. I also get eggs from a homesteading friend, blend them & freeze dry them. Blend again after you take them out of the machine and Mylar bag or vacuum seal in Canning Jars. 1 TBl + 2 Tbl water to make one egg. I scramble them or use them in baking. We also FD all if our leftovers at the end of each week and Mylar bag them for long term storage. You & your family will love this machine so much. ♥️ I am going to try to send you a YT video link of a local man that owns a small Amish grocery store that we shop at. He was shunned by his church community. I wish so badly that he could know you & your family. He is experiencing a new relationship with Christ and that is so wonderful.

These are my tips for you. Pre freeze your trays of food than put them in your machine. It makes the process faster. Also, if you didn't order extra trays, this would be a good idea. Also there's a guy on youtube Also that has great Info and he has corners that allow you to stack your trays for pre freezing. He also has tray dividers so you can make single servings. Chilli is awesome freeze dried. Although I wasn't raised Amish, I feel like I'm watching a replay of my youth, where all five children played a roll in our family life. Yard work, gardening, canning, all the good stuff. My momma made bread too! Thanks for the memories!

Love your channel. About your feet. You have had a big surgery. The nerves have been moved and now they don't know what to do or where they should live. I had surgery on just 1 foot in 2018 and the nerves still aren't like they were. My husband has neuropathy. He found this pad that he uses 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night. It is called Nooro. It is about $100 but sometimes it is on sale for $79. Like a tens machine. Go to their website and there is a video. Works great.

We freeze dry Everything that we can. We too own a Harvest Right. We are trying to freeze dry enough food to sustain my wife and I for 7-10 years. We freeze dry enough fruits and veggies (that we grow) to sustain ourselves for the year, save enough food for the 7-10 year mark and to barter with my in-laws who raise beef, pork and lamb on their Montana ranch. The only meat that we don’t barter is chicken. We buy rotisserie deboned chicken from Costco. I love to go off roading and camping with a Christian friend (our wives don’t like to camp). I take our freeze dried food so if we don’t catch enough fish to eat while we’re gone, we just add water and heat up our freeze dried food. Joas, purée mangoes, strawberries, blueberries, etc and then freeze dry it. It becomes a powder so every time you want a Smoothie, just add water and ice blend it and you’ve got a Smoothie. We also cook our greens, add bacon grease salt and pepper, drain and freeze dry. If stored properly your freeze dried food will last 25-30 years.

Check your arches, try a good feet store, you would be surprised how much the rest of your body is effected by your arches being out of alignment. With your injuries, surgery and recovery, it is quite possible that your arches have changed drastically and need adjustments.

A hot foot bath might help with the foot pain, with the jet massager on the feet and that might have to be a new forever routine because the tissue has gotten stiff, so like a rubber band is around the bones and muscles. Dancers who break their feet have issues too. I wonder if Pilates has a foot warm up for AM.

Also, keep the door open after you use it. Becky, Acre Homestead didn't, & what a mold mess she had to clean up. What a stinky mess. (freeze dried) food for thought. Lol

When freeze drying meat, add your seasoning and cook it to Rare. When you’re ready to reheat it, add water and reheat it and it’ll cook a bit more so it’ll be medium rare when finished.

Many KZbinrs pitch merchandise. The Miller's actually use their endorsements. Specific to this family, they show trial, error, wear and tear of products. One of the most endearing qualities of their channel is they maintain authentic lives. They do not embellish daily happenings, exploit their children or make up scandalized scripts. Moreover they are not greedy or arrogant.

Do you ever vacuum pack the freeze dried food? There is always food featured on your channel, but this made me feel like I was watching a Food Network show - Cooking Alaska Style with your host Priscilla Miller. Wonderful! I simply enjoy watching such homestead videos. The cooking was simply awesome as always Priscilla. Joas I pray you have a revelation of this truth - As Jesus IS, so are you in THIS world - 1 John 4:17 - you are beyond condemnation and are God's beloved in Christ the Beloved. So divine health and healing are your inheritance in and through Him. Just keep confessing your righteousness in Christ in the face of any evil and evil has to depart. Keep saying in the face of all adversity / in any crisis, "I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. No evil befalls me and NO plague can come near my dwelling (my house & my body). As Jesus is so am I in this world." Just keep believing and confessing the Truth and NOT what you SEE or FEEL. The freeze dryer seems to be a good machine for you guys. The children are really very hardworking. Looking forward to your next video. Until then - stay blessed all of you in Christ Jesus. 🙌🙌🙌❤🤍🙌🙌🙌
