What a wonderful documentary on a little-known but important work! Bravo to the Marine Biology team and the filmmaker! It'd be great to watch more documentaries on different obscure professions.

when the researcher said their work is meaningful because it gets communicated to the government and influences policies .. i hope that never changes and scientists continue to get high respect in policy making

Great job, everyone! I wish you all the best of success. We need more people like you guys in every country! While I’m not a marine biologist, there’s nothing in this world that I like more than corals. Luckily, I have a reef next to my city, and I often go to glue fragments onto other rocks. I use special marine glue, and every time I see a broken chunk, I glue it to a suitable place with the right current and light conditions to help it thrive. 😊 I hope that more and more people will be willing to help rather than destroy or take them illegally 😊

The biggest problem in our singapore sea is the overwhelming sendiments & substrates found in it. Every coral is choking on these massive amount of sendiments & substrates swimming in the sea. We need policies and actions to first remove sendiments & substrates that are choking the corals. At the same time learn the latest coral farming technologies from other countries and grow resiliant corals that have higher survival rate. I notice that singapore corals are not in danger of high oceanic temperature change since we are in the pacific ocean which is colder than the atlantic ocean and therefore less prone to coral bleaching events. The main problem in the sea surronding singapore is the sendiments & substrates swimming in it. It is so bad that the water visibility drops to 5 meters or less which in turn blocks most of the sunlight that the corals need.
