Awww...I'm so happy! Between developmental issues, malnutrition, demodex, worms, flies, infection...she didn't have much time left. A couple more weeks and she'd have passed on. Now she has a fighting chance at recovering and finding a good home.

Good morning Lester. I just finished Watching Jami video. This is a sad video watching. It made me cry all the am 41 years old a grown man crying crying but this really touches me. I would love to say you guys are doing a great job rescuing these poor dogs. My prayers go out for stella. And my blessings go out to Lester and Jami. I'm so glad you guys built those horse stalls. They've been so many things from Journeys nursery to a chick haven & now a safe place for Stella to hopefully recover in. I agree there's only so many you can help but hopefully more folks will step up & give these dogs a good home. Just insure they're kept quarantined for awhile & you clean clothes n hands after handling them until cleared. Also check them with a black light to see if they have ringworm because that takes even more cleaning. But no matter what you've stopped Stella's suffering. Even if you end up giving her the last act of kindness you've still changed her world & given her love. But I believe if she has any chance it will be with you guy's help. Even if later on you find her a good home.

She is a black German shepherd, at least part. She looks to be young, probably a yr old. German shepherds are the most abandoned and surrendered dog breed in the US. She looks pretty rough, thank you guys for saving her.

Great job getting Stella. I feel so sad for her ears. I do know that once there is a wound flies will begin doing there thing at the ears. Which keeps them from healing. This is the best rescue.

The sad thing is once she does come to you and sees that you've got so much love for her and when she slowly starts to trust you her whole demeanor will change. PS: A memory came to me as I was pondering the plight of the dogs. When I used to visit my parents in Texas I remember telling my parents I can't believe all the dead dogs on the road. Our county has good animal control and you very rarely see that up here. My parents said they were shocked when they moved there but were used to it now. I said that's sad...🙏❤😪😪

Unfortunately there are so many animals abandoned or in shelters that they won’t put money into these types of cases which is just awful. Lester, no matter what a p-pat may say, they are not there doing their part so they can stick where the sun does not shine. You and Jami are amazing humans.
