Tasmania's Giant Kelp Forest has declined by 95% since the 1960's due to climate change and specifically ocean warming. Dr. Cayne Layton and his team from The University of Tasmania are fighting to save the remaining underwater forests using innovative restoration techniques. Tasmania is known to be a global ocean warming hotspot, making it effectively a window into the future for the rest of our ocean.
