I recently heard in a sermon how important it is to meditate on God's Word throughout the day every day. He said the worriers are experts at meditating, it's just that they meditate on the wrong things....what bad things might happen. I have struggled with worry most of my life. God has freed me from that as I submit to His Will and meditate on His Word (truth)! Think on what is lovely, true, pure, etc ❤

I like that you say your videos are lacking or your taking a break. Dear lady the content is still amazing, and you still are doing what you need to do for your family. Funny my husband asks what did you do today and I'll say nothing and then he'll spout my nothings back to me and says I'd like to see your day of somethings. Back at the end of December, I made a list of meals that I could do with what was in my freezers and pantry and to my surprise Amy, I actually can go until the end of April with just a minimum run to the grocery store each month for buns ( because I don’t like frozen to thawed buns) and fresh veggies maybe my lactose free milk. But I’m talking a total of less than $20 budget per month!! I’m so shocked what a plan of action can save.

When you go shopping you could get rotisserie chickens and save meat for dishes and use the bones to make fresh broths

We are polish. My Mom and I made pierogies before. Mmmmmm home made awesome. Today I just made the best banana bread. It sounds weird but mmmmmm good. 3 ripe or overripe bandanas, 2 eggs and a yellow cake mix. Spray two loaf pans. Divide up batter. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Have a fantastic day. ❤❤❤

Since you are deep frying outside anyway, you should get a turkey fryer and you could deep fry a lot more chicken at one time.

You are right about some videos showing grocery hauls, the monthly food cost per person does not include the cost of dairy, eggs, and meat purchased in bulk or home raised. I, like you, buy everything.

The kitchen is the only place to save money. Years ago I had a friend who had many foster kids and many of her own kids and she would mix a gallon of milk w another gallon of powdered milk to stretch it to two full gallons. You do whatever you can do. Her kids never noticed. lol Have a great day!

I am definitely a planner/prepper. I work outside of my home all week. 1 hour on a Saturday planning meals and then prepping ingredients saves me so much time and headaches during the week. I have bins in my pantry labeled Mon-Fri. I measure out rice, pasta, potatoes, whatever cans I need and spices and put them in the bins for each day. I do the same thing for refrigerated things. I have ziplock bags labeled Mon-Fri, and cheese needed are shredded or prepped, veggies are washed, chopped, peeled, again whatever is needed for the meal. I keep basics in my pantry flour, sugar, pasta, rice, beans and flour tortillas in my pantry at all times. It's how I can keep my sanity each day with busy schedules. Good Morning Amy! I wonder if you take advantage of the cashback that stores are offering? I use it at Walmart and Dollar General. Found it on their app. That could be another way to save money for the extras or just for your monthly paper/household products. The little drumsticks are part of the wing of a chicken. You can buy only drumettes. A wing has flats and drmettes. Why not get your produce every two weeks? That way you’re sure that it won’t go bad. BTW-Sam’s club has fresh cut London boil and it’s delicious!

If you like pistachio flavored things, you should try Pistachio Pudding. All it is is a regular package of pistachio pudding, a large tub of whipped cream, a small can of crushed pineapple (drained), and 1/2 bag of mini marshmallows. It is so stinking good. It's similar to Watergate Salad, but just slightly different. Oh and it is almost ice cream like if you freeze it.

Are you talking about the drumettes? It's a section of the wing. The three sections are the tips, flats and the drums. It's easy to buy wings and separate them yourself or my Walmart has 4 lb bags of flats and 4 lb bags of the drumetts. You might find larger quantities at Sam's or Costco.
