I hope the kids feel better soon. My household is on the end of the sickness. I feel the same way with the money I wished I had to put in sinking funds. Life has happened and credit card debt has gotten out of control. I’m starting over again from scratch and want to tackle cc debt but really need to save a new emergency fund. I know that some channels I watch have a lot to put towards savings and sinking funds and I envy them but I also have to remember that they started where I am now and it will take time.

girl, I really struggle with this. I want to share my journey, because I think it's so relatable - but I have to remember to respect my husband/our households privacy in respect to our finances - I just don't know how much I want to put out in the world, up front any way, I think I'd be fine sharing as we pay things off, what we're tackling so if you went back, you'd see how far we've come - but we are pushing 30k in credit card debt and I'm SO over it, and that's just one aspect of our financial debt. but I have to remind myself, it took us YEARS to get to this point, it's going to take us a couple years to get out of it. You acknowledge the feelings around your finances...so now it's time to work towards it. make it fun, go cash, stack the small amounts like these savings challenges & automating my savings every week has already yielded results bigger than I imagined they would. we've got this and we're in this together!
