One of the things I've noticed on most Audi's is that the wheel arch follows the circumference of the wheels perfectly ..and that look is spectacular ....you lower it ...and you loose that feature.

What a great swap! So lucky to get a Golf R with a perfect engine & so much external damage but sometimes it’s worth the risk. Really enjoyed watching this series. Bronze wheels look great on white cars, not so great on black imho but colour is mostly subjective. Very inspiring swap.

Had an A3 some years ago and crunched the rear near side corner with my van, really made me angry at myself. Got out my heat gun and got all the crease out 100% just had to have the bumper touched up by a PDR man. Really satisfying

Silver wheels would look better but what really look much better would be if you could mach the chromes with a color match wheels wrap, that would look fenomenal. The wheels r beautiful the chrome on that car not so much. What do you think? Great video mate, keep going. Can't wait to see the R8 moving on its wheels and power.

The P0030 code brings on the lamp as it's an emissions code. It'll not come on immediately as it sits in a "pending" state until it's confirmed after a period of time, then the light comes on. Similar to how the P0420 code takes a while to come on when the car is decatted.

Keyfob battery. Not sure if the keys feature In this version or not, but Duracell's have child proof stickers on them which prevent them working in some devices. Cheaper brands don't have the stickers

Silver wheels, sort out the bodywork, charge the a/c, stick antifreeze in quick before it freezes and knock it out, keep the go-faster stuff for the Golf and get rid of that too. Great vid as always 👍

Yep agree wheels would look nice in a nice bright silver. Sure you will find a rear bumper in colour. Would be tempted to buy it a set of standard wheels and sell it on as a standard car! Nice turnaround.

I'd switch the performance parts to the Audi, when I see a CAT S for sale all I can think of is the list of problems the car has, for it to not be standard as well as damaged, I wouldn't even give it a second glance, the list of further problems other than the obvious could be endless and take twice/thrice as long to fix when things inevitably go wrong. In two minds about the wheels, it looks unique like this and it suits the car, for a quick sale, I'd change em to suit the cars exterior piping trim. Great vid lad, thanks.

Silver alloys. Throw all the goodies on this as the four wheel drive can handle it. As long as you can get the money back on the golf selling it’s standard. The price should see it fly even though it’s a cat.

Wheels look good, but agree that silver would look better. Would be fun to see 500+ BHP in the S3, but it makes sense what you say about preserving values of both cars by keeping mods on Golf and the S3 stock

Silver wheels will look miles better, they'll also look bigger and you'll pick up the design of the wheel easier too, and another plus, silver won't make the car look like it's riding on steelies.

Great job . Great video. Just one comment. I wouldn't use the Ramair air filter if you care about your engine. They give you around one percent more airflow in exchange for around one thousand percent more dust getting through. All the best, Nick

Love the bronze wheels, maybe if you was to wrap the chrome with some bronze wrap , and the mirror covers that would look really smart plus, it would also look a bit different, keep up the good work

I wouldn't change a thing on it (apart from the damaged bumpers). These wheels look surprisingly good (industrial matte brown on a shiny black body with silver trimming). Matching silver wheels will make it look boring. And please do NOT lower it! Right now the fender and the wheel arches are perfectly aligned, if you lower it, it'll look off. Overall: great job.

What a machine an S3 is, wonderful. It looks like I am a bit different but I like the wheels as it is now. If this was my car I would go for these wheels, not the silver. I guess I would maybe put M/S tires on the silver wheels for the wintertime for a bit more grip, but use the bronze wheels from april till october... looking forward to the next video.
