You did good, just a day too short to do it in. Have you thought about fitting the plastic arch guards all round? Just a thought and, it does save the arch paint in car park scuffs and scrapes when random trolleys are allowed to roll into your car.

Keep the bonnet blue just blend in the sides of the bonnet white so it matches up but looks better than all the boring stock

Lots of comments say you need to respray the bonnet white but I like it as it is. Take a deep breath and have a holiday then check your work before MOT and letting the family loose in it :)

Shame you didn't hit the deadline but you did a great job there Dean. If it was mine I'd get the white bits painted blue as I only like 2 tone on split window campers. You can dissolve the Sikaflex with WD40, I once had a genuine dealer fit spoiler on a car and it started coming loose when I was ready to sell. I squirted WD40 in the gap between the spoiler and tailgate, let it soak for 10 minutes and the Sikaflex peeled off. The paintwork was perfect underneath. Enjoy the holiday!

What you need to do with the paint is to take all that blue to the underwindow line and keep the roof white with front pillar. Obviously it involves more body shop paint but it will look Sick!!!

Use the contour line on the bonnet that runs to the inside of the headlight as a guide - go white outside of those on the bonnet and wings - leave the middle blue 🤙

Needs to be kept two tone with a white bonnet. 20" wheels and a slight drop suspension wise and a good valet and it'll be perfect. Enjoyed the two videos and look forward to future updates. Currently on holiday in Cornwall and the weather hasn't been great hope it improves for your week away.

Most of these van has been modified by the husband for the wife to drive. Husband want to drive RS4 to work and when the family need to go camping-Hey presto- we have a good looking van to take our family to Cornwall.... Just saying....

There is a body line on the left and right of the bonnet. You could get the bodyshop to paint the side edges of the bonnet white, and the little triangular pieces white. I think that would be the only way for it to look right. It looks good though, Id like one of these to go to Wales in every weekend. Great job!
