I know it's only pre season, but we still have issues scoring goals, which is worrying, we can't rely on McBurnie, Jebbo, or Osula, and we could be possibly losing Ndiaye.

Lowe looked off it today let his man goes first half for the off the post chance and there first goal jus let the geezer shoot like he wasn't there the left side needs some strengthening for me and positives the young boys over these 2 games are looking bang up for it but I'm not sure if it's jus because our senior players aren't firing on all cylinders

I’m not worried one little bit about these results. I am however worried that the board and current management team can cut it on the Prem. I’d love Hecky, Stuart and Jack to make a go of it, but this may be a level to far for them. Hope they prove me wrong. The board however I can’t understand why the goal is the premier league of you can’t compete financially!! Find a suitable buyer who can take us to the next level that’s is sustained, competitive premier league football.

We are in a ver strong position to find a buyer at this point, if we had missed out on promotion the club would have been sold to whoever the Prince sought fit to sell to. The fact we are in the Prem again means he is now wanting more and will be pocketing a lot of the promotion money. So far we have spent around £7 million ish on squad players. We don’t need to spend money for the sake of it but the business we have done so far doesn’t look like being enough to be competitive.

@@Mainactor80 How do you work out that we are in a strong position, first if all the number of potential purchaser's is incredibly small, then factor in we are in a 2 Club City, surrounded by towns with their own Clubs, so the opportunity to grow the fan base, sell more tickets and merch is limited, the ground has possibly been used to its full extent over the last few years re concerts, Women's internationals etc given its location/housing etc earnings in the close season are limited. The training facilities need another upgrade and or relocation, our history means something to us, it doesn't translate to £sss a fan on the other dude of the World isn't going to watch us, because the Lane is the oldest stadium or it hosted a Test match. Oh hiw we laugh at the Wednesday fans wondering why Red Bull or the Saudi Gov didn't take them over, well let's apply the same cold hearted logic, because that's exactly what any potential buyer will do. Oh and by the way EVERY football club in the country is up for sale, they won't advertise the fact but for the right money every club is available with the exception of City and Newcastle

@@chrisjones2224 Well that’s a very parochial mentality you hold there, the catchment around Sheffield, student numbers means that if we were an established premier league team we could attract 40k thousand consistently. I’d take a look at Leicester as comparison. Yes they are a one city club, but a smaller one than Sheffield. And yes they have just been relegated but what a ride that have been on. What are you saying? I never mentioned anything regarding that level of buyer being interested. But given our history, our academy credentials, fan base and Premier league status we are an attractive proposition for an investor further to the food chain than the current ownership.
