Just freshly turned 20 back then, she was 28. I discovered a lot of great music thanks to her. This band, of course, was proudly one of them. We tried to make things work, but the age gap remained. 8 years, those 8 damn years that she had ahead of me I was never able to overrun finally took their toll after we spent our days together for two years. Was great while it lasted, but I couldn't count the times I had wished to travel back in time, to a time where she was younger so the age gap could be less crucial on us. Was that considered love? I truly believe so. Not after a decade now did I realize how childish my fantasy was.. My feeling to her somehow still remains, but now it's more out of nostalgia.. I miss you Taylor, I hope you are now doing great and have found the one for you in life

couple whose relationship has ended long ago but they’re still not letting it go. It falls along the lines of “Love isn’t always enough in a relationship.”
@VOIDsick1 Жыл бұрын
Felt this in every sense of the love and pain, I first heard this song when I was in my first longest relationship of 6 yrs and man was I feeling that I’d loose her, telling myself she’d always be the one and no one else for me, here I am years years years later married with a whole different young lady with a daughter and yet I listen to this because it’s bittersweet knowing that now this relationship is going to shit too but it helps me realize that in the first one I did the most I was the romance guy I was the one who still believed and acted on chivalry always sweet here I am married and doing my best to keep the relationship afloat open conversation and dialogue or to find out miren more of what I don’t know of her but it becomes burdensome because it just seems like a waste but I’m happy that I’ve accepted maybe i am the problem but I’ve done some much growing from them til now and it’s just truly awesome to reflect this song helps me big time!!!

I was thinking the same thing. At 0:25 seconds in, it seriously sounds like an anime opening.

She was my only friend left, :( she's from England and I'm from America, I'm joining the Army and it doesn't seem they take too kindly to soldiers over there. Anyways she said I was way to over attached to her, but most people wouldn't blame me for doing so, after all I do have depression, I grew up poor, had to deal with racism, mom had cancer, etc etc... Maybe you guys might understand where I'm coming from

This song will forever remind me of the girl I fell in love with. She's 600 miles away from me and she's been through a lot. I would love to help her fully solve her problems, however, like the song, I'm not the answer. I await the day until I finally see her face again and I can tell her what I've wanted to say for the past 2 years. Hopefully, one day the time will come. PS: Llama Girl, if you ever see this, this is about you. I know we fell apart as friends, but just know you've been on my mind for the past couple of years. I love you.
