Today, it is a valuable monument and the seat of such interesting cultural institutions as the museum of contemporary art or the Municipal Archaeological Museum.
Savona can also boast of interesting sacral monuments. Among them, the Baroque Cathedral of the Assumption stands out, with a beautiful Sistine Chapel from the 15th century. It is also worth paying attention to the eighteenth-century church of St. Andrew the Apostle, which is an interesting reminder of the Jesuits, and the church of St. John the Baptist, inside which you can see many interesting works by local artists.
