Thank you! I made turmeric rice in the same pan in which I fried the chicken. To that pan, I added a little more ghee and whole garam masalas (clove, cardamom, cinnamon). I added garlic to it along with turmeric and sauteed for a minute. Then I added presoaked rice and water along with chicken stock. Cook until rice gets done. Add black pepper in the end.

Thank you so much. What I do is I listen to the brief tafseer class by Taimiyya Zubair. I’ve posted the link for her classes in my description. It’s not a detailed class just a brief one. So I listen to it and write down whatever extra she says about each verse in my book along with ayah number so that the next time I read the translation I can refer to my notes and understand better.
