Agree -- assuming we are talking about aerials, they are certainly part of the Lindy Hop tradition, and exciting to see.

Looking for a video of large group of young Lindy hoppers, taking turns doing lifts, aerials and trick steps one couple after another to Bennie Goodman music. Several members of the group I recognized in having danced in Swing Kids....I have lost this video and it seems to be just an impromptu get together outside dancing to show off. I love it and would like to see it again.

I'm sorry but these dancers are on another level skill wise to the dancing on display in Swing kids! That movie was made in the early 2000s when the fad was for all air steps and not much musicality. In fact the dancers in the movie don't look that different to the actors dancing, who presumably had quite a lot of training. Pro level swing dancing has come an awful long way since Swing Kids, the movie!

Great dancing. It's not easy to Lindy Hop at 240 BPM. You can't do airsteps at this speed, but they kept it interesting. 🙂👍🏽
