Bang on about Pep. In addition he never rests on his laurel. He is the first to know you have to evolve tactically to not get sussed out and be to predictable. So he will probably do some minor adjustment to his formation to keep his opponents guessing. His passion for winning is unmatched.

Hate to say it as a Spurs fan but I reckon it's going to the wire again but this time Arsenal just nick it (one point or goal difference). So I'm going for Arsenal / City / Man Utd / Liverpool / Aston Villa / Newcastle / Chelsea /Spurs / West Ham / Brighton. That's based on the supposition that City surely have to slip up sometime and despite all that talent at their disposal a couple of freak results puts them second.

Think there needed to be a bit more emphasis on Liverpool signing no one, it's hard to stay where you are if you don't constantly upgrade, both in terms of ability but also for the psychology of the squad. Moreover, Chelsea and Liverpool both having new managers will be big, I think it's a bit of a stretch to use Chelsea's recent form under a different manager when evaluating how they will start the new season. Especially with how badly they started under Poch and how woeful they have been thus far in pre season, Marseca's tactics will take time to come to good effect, if they eventually do in the end.

We didn’t “concede 61 goals with this back 4”. The first choice back 4 players together 16 times, conceded 20. The issue was depth, Emerson and Davies when CBs were injured early in the season and then Davies/Skipp/Emerson at LB when Udogie was injured in the last 6 weeks. Need better back up, Dragusin will help but need another left sided defender.

I cant see Spurs doing well. Its all good and well playing attacking football but Spurs are so open at the back and Postecoglou doesnt have a plan B. He only has one playing style and he sticks to it regardless of results, Tottenham will finish 7th and Postecoglou will be sacked by Christmas.

Going against all rationality, Im going to say we get 4th. Im not saying it because I believe we are going to be amazing. It could just be that we get into another battle for who can be the shyttest around that area, who wants it the least, and all our opponents collapse, sort of like what has been happening every season lately. Weve been living around clubs playing well below the clubs standards. That could well change this season, logically we look like a tenth place team. Well no, maybe 7th is a bit knder as we have some good defenders in there. But rational thinking doesnt get me anywhere lately in the prem. Who knows.

Predicting 4 - 10 is basically impossible. With the blessings of the Roman goddess Fortuna we could get 4th, but If we’ve angered her in some way we could be 10th. 🤷‍♂️

That was a fun watch. You were saying 6th last week or the week before for Spurs, right? Have you dropped us a place due to our lack of transfers, other teams increase in transfers, or a bit of both? Or just had more evidence from our crap displays against Bayern? I have to agree 7th for Spurs. City do what City do but I expect a very similar season to last with Arsenal close. It's a bit like the few seasons when they battled Liverpool. Chelsea are the team I've just got no clue about. If Poch were still there I'd have them top 4.

Yep I said 7th as I see other clubs pushing for players that strengthen their 11..... We're literally starting the season with the same 11 plus Solanke. It's pathetic

Timber doesn’t have a starting point, we have no evidence of how good he would be for Arsenal. Partey is finished, his legs have done. Tomiyasu is not a starter, back up at best. No injuries to Saka, Rice, Odegaard or Saliba. Just wrong to deny that Arsenal didn’t get very lucky with injuries last season.

Savva this is absolutely embarrassing from you. Newcastle 8th is absolutely outrageous. Newcastle would have easily finished above Spurs last season without the crazy injuries, let alone MAN UNITED, who we STILL finished above. 23/24 season Newcastle vs Man United 7th / 8th xG? 3rd / 12th xPTs 4th/15th Goals scored? 4th/10th xGA? 9th/15th With no Europe. Spurs were only six points ahead of Newcastle when we had a DISASTER season and Spurs had no Europe on top of going out early in both cups. Man United 4th is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. 🤣🤣🤣.

@@FootballHeritageTV I did. I also listened to you ridicule, rightfully, the stupid Man United fan and remind him of the gap between the teams last season. Newcastle were a much better team than Man United, 8th was a very false position. Newcastle don’t have Europe. The last time we didn’t have Europe, we had the joint best defence in the league, came 4th and got 71 points, with a much weaker squad. There is simply no argument for Man United finishing above Newcastle. The argument for Newcastle above Man United is OVERWHELMING. Which I outlined clearly.
