Take a ride on the Saw Mill Log Flume at Six Flags Great Adventure, a favorite ride for many on a hot summer day! Fun fact: this is one of the few remaining original attractions here, opening with the park all the way back in 1974!
Six Flags Great Adventure is located in Jackson, New Jersey.

Rode this opening day July.1st 1974 ..it looks like they did a lot of patch work on it over the years

It actually wasn't open on July 1st, 1974 because this and the Runaway Mine Train weren't completed. This section of the park opened three days later on July 4th, 1974.

@Jefferson Thomas exactly I rode it last week and the first time I rode it (I rode it 3 times in a row that day) the restraint wasn’t even tight and I couldn’t pull it down anymore and the workers didn’t do anything

We had one in Blackpool I remember riding it tons of times then finally The powers that be tore it down the logs would get stuck on the lift hill .😑

What do you do about your cell phone on the log flume? Do you put it in a ziplock bag, or do you have to use a locker?

This ride doesn’t have a strict no loose articles policy, so as long as you keep your phone secured in a pocket, you’ll be ok!
