After hours of "drones over NJ" and other Bravo Sierra, I appreciate a few minutes of "Fat Ash" millin' to get my roots back in the ground. Thanks for the sanity...😎

Nice sawing, great looking lumber 👍That 1st log was a monster of an ash. I liked your dual view segments.

Hi, from east central Alberta, Can. I have a bit of sawdust under my fingernails, so I really enjoy your channel! Lots of skill in sawing every log to get the most sellable lumber! As much as I know about your system, it appears you handle it like a pro! God bless you, and a Merry Christmas to you, your family & the boys in the back sorting your lumber!

Thank you for your commentary. I find saw milling videos interesting because I like trying to understand the decisions the sawyer is making as he cuts a log. It's these commentated decisions that personally help me when I use my bandsaw mill and how I can get the best yield from my logs.

It’s absolutely mesmerizing to watch you maneuver that 4 thousand lb log into planks. I love it

Morning Ian, like the inset cabin view ad you have a great voice for cometary even if it is voice over done later. Must be hard to work all the buttons etc while talking. Great log by the way.

Love the videos. You should do one where the boards go to next for plaining and sanding, ready for finish work.

They don't plane and sand the lumber at his sawmill. Roughsawn green is the product.

I can see a lot of dust , do you not have some kind of dust collection/extraction ?
@HelmsburgsawmillКүн бұрын
Yes. Blowers suck the dust out through boxes that are located underneath of the saws

@@KevinPool-k1r I just asked a question, and I get this! If Ian is working the lever inside, who is taping the sawing? If you don't know, say so!

@frank64409 sorry, I am the camera man. I was also curious about the "other camera guy " who replied he was the camera man. It isn't Jpa2282.
