I liked Spiral a lot and the first 2 saw movies, all the other ones were either disappointing or just bad, but I’ve always like the over arching story with John Kramer so I’m looking forward for this one, this is kind of what I was hopping Jigsaw would have been

It takes place between Saw 1 and 2, so I'd say you probably just have to see those. 1 and 2 are the best in the franchise though, so I'd recommend watching them regardless lol
