@@kittychang025 he says something about Sawamura that actually socked me at the time. Because he seemed more impressed by Sawamura than Furuya. I know for sure the people he was with said that Furuya was amazing and Okumura was saying that credit was to given Sawamura as well. He definitely said he wanted to see Sawamura’s pitches from the catcher’s spot because he thought there was more to his pitches. (It is kinda hard for me to remember exactly my memory can be almost exact if I hear it in English. Reading it is mostly the intent of what is said) But what will stand out for me more was that he absolutely would not catch for Sawamura but he would catch for Furuya before he made first string. So he definitely has more respect for Sawamura no matter how they may have clashed at the beginning.

I love it when i read the manga and found out that okumura always stay by sawamura side...the best battery for me..i love miyuki but i love okumura more..eventhought they always fight but you can see that okumura really respect sawamura...

Okamura really just wants to catch for Sawamura he admires him so much he wanted to be in the first team before catching for him also he went to Saido cause of him… cant wait to see them in an actual tournament which will most likely happen after the Summer Koshien when Miyuki leaves in 3 months

Sawamura tells Okumura this in Act 2 episode 12, but Miyuki tells Sawamura this in Act 1. I have to look back to see what episode he tells him this though ^^*

He said at the Teito game that Seidou has 2 interesting pitchers but Okumuras friend Seto said that Okumura always thought highly of Sawamura and that he came to Seidou for him

He definitely did. He was pleasantly surprised and amazed with Sawamura's pitching. I think he first saw Sawamura play in ep14 or something, he said he would apply to whichever school wins the game and incidentally Sawamura was pitching at the time. He did say that there are two great pitchers in the team, but he clearly thinks that Sawamura is the more interesting pitcher and that's why he didn't want to catch for him until he gets to 1st string- he thinks he doesn't deserve the right. He couldn't catch for Furuya at first but he wasn't too fazed about it as they're just fastballs while he was shocked and felt challenged when he first caugt for Sawamura
