Wow! Just heard this for the first time today. I have only heard the title track of 'Kick' and 'Illegal Weapon' among Jasmine's songs, and yes her voice seemed powerful, and the songs catchy - but did not have anything special to it. So whenever this song came up on my notification, just scrolled by it, but now finally heard it- and it opened my eyes. Jasmine is a true powerhouse of a singer, and Divya is just brilliant. One of the most underrated Coke Studio pieces.

ChanguMangu, actually, Sachin and Jigar said that the meaning of 'chhod gaya re baeri, sawan mein' is supposed to mean that he could have left her at any point of time but he chose to do it at the time when she was drenched from head to toe in his love (sawan mein). It's not supposed to be the literal monsoon and it's not supposed to be soothing at all. It's supposed to be really aggressive.
