SAWDUST CHARCOAL PRODCUTION PROCESS -

The pressing system consists of 5 machines. Each machine comprises components: Material Feeding, Hopper, Rotating screw, Mold, and Heating rings.
Refined sawdust, after being fed into the screw conveyor, is loaded onto the material feeding of the pressing machine and then directed into the hopper. The rotating screw simultaneously pushes and compresses the sawdust into the mold with a very high pressing force. The mold is heated by heating rings wrapped around it at a temperature of around 250 degrees Celsius, to soften the sawdust and combine it into briquettes (High force pressing + High temp). Subsequently, the briquette is pushed out of the mold and broken to a predetermined length of about 45cm. It is then stacked on racks to be moved to the cooling area before being transported to the kilns for the carbonization process.
There are 2 types of mold: Hexagon mold and Square mold.

- Length: 45cm
- Diameter: 5cm
- Weight: 1.2kg
Standard quality of briquette:
- Ensuring the dimension, weight standard
- Be hard, strong
- Without any cracks on surfaces
- Not easy to breakage.
