The fact that she self-reflects and is able to take inspiration from a vet like Cher says a lot about her character. Cher is someone who had to prove herself as well. She wasn't considered a real artist, people said she was only famous because of Sonny, said she had no talent and lacked substance. Now she's an Oscar-winning legend. Saweetie seems to have more depth and maturity than a lot of the trendy artists who splash and then fade away, certainly more than people give her credit for. Her lyrics seem personal, and I respect that - she's not relying on ghostwriters like some others. She has hustle and intelligence and I can see her expanding into different areas. Her mind and authenticity will take her far.
