For those who recognize this you already can see for those viewers who may not this guy is an exceptionally good Sawyer as he simply just doesn't miss a single beat while sawing

FWIW I prefer this camera view over the other side. It shows more process. Thanks for sharing.

Would love to see the next steps in this process also…that wood ends up somewhere, and I would enjoy seeing the end point. Thanks for the great vids!

More great sawing, Jason. It's interesting how your edger guy can anticipate the setting he needs before the board gets there. Does he always go to standard widths? Bill
@nicholssawmillandmore17 күн бұрын
Thanks. He chooses the widest he can get I hope!

I’m sure you’re happy to be off of pine and onto cutting something with a little character haha I know I would be!
@nicholssawmillandmore19 күн бұрын
You are absolutely correct. Pine is mostly boring!

Are you running off the local utility provider, or do you use a generator for the mill?
@nicholssawmillandmore19 күн бұрын
The local electricity provider.

We don't have this kinda poplar over here in Europe, is that considered a hardwood there coz here poplars are all soft?
@nicholssawmillandmore19 күн бұрын
They are soft but considered a hardwood

No ear protectors, no gloves and Probably no proper uniform
@nicholssawmillandmore19 күн бұрын
Yes but ear protectors and gloves are available.
@ztheletter52968 күн бұрын
@@nicholssawmillandmore I agree. Make it available but let the young man decide. I was always a no gloves bloke except in obvious situations. In this case I would wear them instead of picking the splitters out every night.
