That log is more valuable than the people who make negative comments. Keep up the great work.

I applaud you taking the time to get the maximum amount of useable lumber out of some of those logs. It takes many years to get a hardwood tree to that size and shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Kinda laughing at all of us armchair quarterbacks on that big ugly about 1/3rd to halfway through…I wasn’t there and have never run a sawmill in my life, but found myself telling you what to do - hahahaha

I bet those were somthing to get out of the woods and REALLY something to saw and try and get something out of. The sawyer got to go home and see if another handfall of hair fell out. He really does good to use the carriage and the turner together. SMOOTH! Blessings! Happy 4th!

Just curious Jason. How come you don’t skim your cant before you split it?? I notice sometimes u do and sometimes u don’t or the odd time you will flip it around and take a board right away are you not worried about that pc being thick or thin on one end? Great sawing today

When I turn it and take another bd I'm trying for a better grade and I probably should skim more.

No offense, buy thats the worst camera work of all the saw-milling videos I watch, I feel like im getting motion sickness, get a tripod or something. It might look alright on the small screen of a phone, but on my 37 inch inch pc screen, its like a rollercoaster ride.
