Holy moly, when was the last time I saw this?! Thank you so much!

I loveeeeeeeed this one as a child. I was always the quiet hippo and my brother was the loud obnoxious mouse sharing a wall with me XD

That mouse can certainly bust a move.

Tahnk you so much for posting this one too! I've been waiting for this classic as well. Heh and yes-we have some neighbors who live across the street from us who throw rather loud and noisy parties so we nicknamed them "the Louds"

I like that mouse, he was awesome. But he should have known better...

@letthewinderaseme I loved how the mouse danced as a child. I always used to try to dance with him.

Haven't seen this in ages, yes, I remember the mouse crunching on the cookie, banging the nail and dancing to loud music. This is a brilliant one.

i wish i could dance like that mouse! hilarious...crank the tunes mouse and get down!!!

You bet! We used to have to suffer a old pickup truck's engine every weekday morning and a radio every Sunday. It's a good thing they've both since stopped.

this was a big memory from my childhood! And I think that mouse lives upstairs from me as we speak D:

mind you you'd think this insert would've taught about compromise but instead it teaches that if you intimidate someone enough they'll eventually leave.

Thank you sooo much for sharing! I had always loved the way the cat rolled his eyes up at the end of this. LOL! PeacexXx!!!

Oh yes I've had neighbors like that. Still do. This is a good cartoon. I've always enjoyed it.

This was probably made before he was popular, but it sounds similar to Jerry Seinfeld. But I don't think that's who it was.

CLASSIC!

Good point! I never thought of that before. (although the dancing still cracks me up) :)

I'm not sure about the moral of this short - I thought it would be about compromise. Then it ends up with the message that if you intimidate someone enough, they'll leave. At least the mouse thanked the hippo for the tea. Still a nice little short. I love it when the mouse is dancing!
@glowworm216 жыл бұрын
Yes that part is hillarious!Also at 2:54 that picture the mouse is hanging up looks an awful lot like Mickey.
@kingcjulia16 жыл бұрын
"By the way, thanks for the tea!" I knew I'd heard that line somewhere before!

I think the moral is to respect your neighbors, keep quiet. Don't be so loud. ya know? But maybe i'm wrong.lol

Sounds like Frank Oz to me. I don't know who could be doing the mouse, though, but I'd be surprised if that hippo WASN'T Frank Oz!
@valorik16 жыл бұрын
I've had family members and roommates like that mouse. Creepy.
@Garrettk4116 жыл бұрын
That's not Frank Oz as the voice of the hippo is it? There's a touch of Miss Piggy somewhere in there. And also, the mouse sounds rather familiar, though off hand, I can't lay a finger on it.
@Stephen1052810 жыл бұрын
@Koala371 That hippo's portrayed as a human.
@Garrettk4116 жыл бұрын
Well, he arrived with his radio blasting, so maybe he didn't realize just how quiet the place really was.

We used to have neighbors that had loud sex but that I don't mind. Everything else that mouse was doing would probably get on my nerves though
@gameshowguy200016 жыл бұрын
OK, when I saw this, I believe the mouse's pouring of the tea into his cup was just as loud as the hippo's pouring of the tea into her cup. (I couldn't hear how her pouring was quieter and his was louder)
