The sparks are flying in the shop today. Good thing I've put the gas cans away! Welcome back to Sawing with Sandy as I"m going about my routine repairing my sawmill blades with a quick set and sharpening. WIth the amount of sawing that I do I end up dulling blades regularly from use and so I like to bring that back into shape with my Woodland Mills tooth setter and blade sharpener. The two pieces of equipment are relatively basic machines with a slight learning curve to start things off during setup. Once the equipment is setup you'll see just how fast it is to get blades sharpened up to the point where they can go right back onto the sawmill. This method of setting and sharpening my own blades has saved me time over the years and allowed me to not have to ship out my sawmill blades for sharpening. With shipping times varying and no real local sharpening companies near me, having the ability to fine-tune my sawmill blades with my Grindlux 4000 is a real convenience. Well, let's get back to it! Thanks for watching everyone.
