What about Umbreon and Espeon? They are both gen 2 eeveelutions that evolve with friendship, one at day (becoming a psychic Espeon) and one at night (becoming the dark Umbreon) and, personally, I think that's enough to make them eligible for form fight?

No joke. One time in the Battle place (the one that replaces the Battle Frontier) in ORAS and this one guy I battled used an obvious Guts set, except they used it on an Inner Focus Thoh. It was hilarious.

Contrary to most opinions of these two, I actually like them. Throh I'm neutral about, only ever admiring him for taking a hit better than Sawk, but I absolutely love Sawk. I always use one whenever I do a B&W playthrough cause he absolutely destroys Lenora's team and is such a powerful Pokemon to have so early on and later on aswell!

Sake has sturdy because in the animae in every somewhat important battle they gotta drag the battle on for as long as they can, so sawn lives on 1 health and then the battle somehow still lasts for half an hour

I have an deep love for Throh. When I was a kid with my first Pokémon game (White) with my fire starter, I was struggeling really hard with the 2nd gym. At some point I found this level 12 Throh in the grass and caught him because I liked him a lot. After beat her first Pokémon my starter was in a really bad shape so I switched him out fir Throh who I considered cannon fodder for the retaliate. I click Bide, expecting him to just fall over after one attack. This absolute MADLAD takes a boosted stab retaliate and then another one from the Watchog that is 8 levels higher than him and oneshots the Watchog with Bide.

Is this the first time I say “neither” when asked which Form Fight competitor I prefer? Because if you ask me, Sawk and Throh have the later-gen problem of being Pokémon that don’t look like Pokémon. These two look more like Muppets, and as much as I love the Muppets, I don’t want them in my Pokémon games. They aren’t even good to use in battle, which at least would have made them a little redeemable. Also, their names are some of the lamest in the whole series.

Yeah I freely admit to thinking of these 2 as a discount Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, but if used right almost any Pokémon can become a threat (everyone remembers the famous Pachirisu with Nuzzle!). I honestly don’t feel strongly about either but solely cos of colour I’ll root for Team Sawk! Thanks for another great battle Liam 💙🐱💙

On a personal level, I related more to throw because of the stockier/bulkier build. Saw looks awesome and with that Sturdy it's great at setting up some kind of hazard or super move if it's faster, but I always prefer a bulkier battler. Kudos to the win for Throh.

It could be argued that garbodor was the gen 5 replacement for muk in the soft reboot. That could be argued for many. So I could see it as companion with muk, and see wheezing as companion with muk, but not garbodor with wheezing

Actually, now that you brought up Sturdy for Sawk, there could be a deeper meaning. It may be a nod to the fact that many Karate styles practice body conditioning in order to take hits. Iron body.

Shouldn't these rock-made Pokemon be rock types? Which brings me to my next question. I'm taking a summer English class, and my instructor wants us to write a paper on anything that we consider interesting, based on a show, movie, book, or video game we like. Because it's summer and we're in school, he thought the least he can do is make it a "fun" assignment. For example, he said he once had a student who wrote an essay on why Voldemort should've won the Elder Wand in Deathly Hallows Part 2, when he used the straps of his cloak to bind Harry. Apparently the student said because Voldemort had momentarily restricted Harry and his ability to use his wand, thus overpowering the master, he should've won the Deathstick. My instructor liked how this student used one scene from a movie and wrote a paper on it, while still talking about the Harry Potter book series. I want to write a paper on how Rock Pokemon are like Fighting type: they're both strong, tough, and the most physical of types, I think. You guys, agree? Take Geodude for example. It TOTALLY looks like a Rock/Fighting type, and it should be: the bicep pose, the clenched fists, its ability to punch, toss, and tackle. I also think Graveler, Midnight Lycanroc, Regirock, and Barbaracle look like Fighting Types too. Rampardos? Maybe. Does it punch or kick? What do you guys think of my idea so far?

I think it could go either way anime wise, sawk is fast he could use his agility against throh to possibly take him down. While throh is very bulky and tough, throh can even use sawks speed against him. So it's 50/50
