Do not use escapists poison because it stuns them and their instinct is to roll Dodge and break Free and then Scavenging Demise misses as dodge. Been there done that. I've been running this on my bow gank ever since Scavenging Demise came out lol. Good build video. Thanks.

@@sawmanUK Effective perhaps. But by far not as strong and hardly worth the moveability penalty. Now you have a major and minor mitigation buff most tanks were running anyway. Also those two buffs dont even ad up to the previous 30% mitigation. And the second major buff is situational and often provided by heals. Not to mention that AoE isn't hitting that hard in pvp and can be avoided in pve. Ironblood was especially good for tanking dlc dungeons on the first couple runs to learn mechanics. In PvP permablock tanks hardly do any harm. Things like onebar jab spammers are 100 times worse imo. The nerf was just totaly uncalled for.

It depends. Anything with swamp works. Extra hitting with caluu. More sustain with marksman. Trolling with scavenging. Group play with Plague break. All great. Buuut I’ve stayed away from oaken. Two bar for me. Ring of wild hunt. Even at low cp. it still hurts. Like a lot. Currently running around 800 cp. and I’m a terror. Mostly use hindering poison cause it slows and they can’t “break free”. Which is a wasted stun. For stun I use bombard or magnum shot. After the a initial combo they don’t die. I run away. Find a new target. You know. Be a super “D” bag. Ohh and lots and lots and lots of camps. All stam and magic pots cause it helps with going invisible and recovery sucks. 🥰🥰🥰

That scavenging proc hits hard as hell but, put on plaguebreak instead with that swamp raiders. It makes your snipe hit a lot harder plus, pop one in the middle of their group and BOOM!

RE: the 00:55 mark - I didn't even realize that you got me with bow. I just knew that someone got me when a shitload of blue sneaks popped up lol. I haven't been able to run addons since High Isles because they crash my computer so I don't get the message, and I never check recaps. There are some AD sneaks using something similar. It's annoying as hell. You can dodge the proc, but like you said, it's not real consistent, so knowing when to dodge is also not real consistent lol. I still have plaguebreak + stygian on my bow build, but I haven't played it since the last patch. On the melee build (the one you shot in this video lol) I am using deadlands + sentry + selene's with 101% crit dmg.

Try 2 bar set up stygian 5 body, 3 imperial wrath jewlery, 2 molag kena and vateshran bow, beserker glyph. Hitting 38k snipes on the dummy. Loads of kills in cyro

For me a good bow gankbuild hits like a truck from the shadows without engaging in combat first. that's why I disregard sets like stygian, clever alchemist, molag kena. if you have to engage in combat and hit them with a light attack first to proc your sets and then use snipe the surprise element is lost and a skilled player will react.

In BGs it worked because even when running around invisibly the game considers you in combat most of the time but anywhere else I just wasted potions lol

If you time crushing weapon right after snipe instead of silver bolts it counts as a stun from stealth

Interesting, this is similar to my build I've used for a long time. But, I use swamp raider and new moon acolyte. Is it worth it to swap out new moon for scavenging demise? My other difference is I don't have both of a monster set, just head molag kena for extra damage. I use ring of wild hunt hence no shoulder monster set piece. I'd be sad to part with wild hunt; I can run circles around everyone while in stealth.

From a purely damage perspective, the killer blade slot also gives you minor savagery and 2% extra crit chance. So you're getting 8% crit chance and 10% crit damage in exchange for 10% flat damage. I would agree with you though in theory, unless you are very heavily building into critical damage done the flat damage probably outweighs it on paper.

ABIT late to commenting (just a small bit 🤏) Nightblade snipe build , try using new moon + scavenging demise + sea serpent coil > then use malevolent offering as a proc (also a very good heal👍) and regular setup +(two handed backbar for momentum) See how hard it hits 😋 (E .g it hits Very hard 😩)

I was surprised that oakensoul is still good after the update, at least for sniping. I didn't feel like anything has changed when playing right after the update...I'm running with balorgh, 4 pieces witch knight and ice comet ultimate though because in IC I feel like the stun is needed so much against many people. I got killed during the execution of toxic barrage so often that I really don't want to use it anymore.

OK on the green skilltree why would you not have the only 2 passives that matter to a stealth build? They reduce your radius to be detected and remove the movement penalty of sneak. Bottom left of the green skill tree

@@sawmanUK I understand your skepticism. I literally keep several sets on my NB. Witch-knights, caluurions, red mountian, stygian, swap raider, VD, PB and rush of agony (agony is for a cleave bomber thing I'm trying out). I can mix and match as well as go bow or melee with any combo of these sets. The thing is I keep coming back to scavenging when ever I'm on my bow simply because the proc is so good. I've run scavenging with caluurions and red mountian but this way of fire set just feels stronger. I've spent no short amount of time testing in cyro, on dummies, on friends and it's to the point I feel weeker on my bow with out it. Against targets 30k or less the burst from scavenging is pretty much all I need. But when facing tankier player the extra 3-4k extra every 2 seconds with the only condition of doing damage with a weapon has got me hooked. All I suggest, is if you find yourself thinking you might like to try something diffrent to give this real consideration.

Concealed Weapon on the bar instead of Killers Blade will provide a straight 10% damage increase. Seems like a waste that you're not using it. Or at least slot Evil Hunter for 25% more Silver Shard damage.

With one bar it's hard to figure out which passive skills offer the best combination of effects because you can't get everything on there. 3 skills are fixed, a heal should be there and the 5th skill is sort of flexible...without assassination skill the most important buff you lose is 10% crit dmg I believe, among a few other things. I currently use piercing mark and healthy offering to get all passives of the class skill lines. With concealed weapon you have 2 shadow skills and lose all assassination passives - not sure which is better 🤔

Evil is 25% damage increase to your bolts and the bonus's with the FG passives , I was running killersblade but swapped it out was much more fun , but is an expensive cast @5k ish

I destroy players with build. Vigor is worthless compared to instant heals provided by healthy offering. Pounding this heal saves my ass a lot and allows me to heal another player at will. My break point is 25k health on full stam build. I play very aggressive on this build and rarely die. I run tri stat food. My regen potion is the green in stam potion in large battles. I run near 5000 wpn damage unbuffed 12000 pen. I use face stab to kill low health zerglets. Swamp Raider/Plaguebreak. Plaguebreak proc is devastating. I’m going to drop . Killers blade for impale. I have to many get always at under 20 present health. It can be used point blank as well. I just don’t know if it outdamages silver shards. Thanks for the ideas.

this is a good build to get into NB pvp. the sets are easy to get, it hits pretty hard still. you arent gonna kill all those sweaty DKs or anything. but its a lot of fun to gank with and you can really delete squishy people in BGs a lot. have multiple 50+ kill games with this build in BGs. its fun, try it out. not the best build out there but it works and its pretty decent for a beginner

The highest I've seen it is 18K. use crystal weapons stealth vampire. silver leash Snipe. mages wrath. stamina version of dark conversions. Is highest kill count in battle Ground. Was 43 and 2. Have fun.
