Appears to be a very nice sawmill. I was looking online @ all the different variations of (Headrigs). I operate one myself in South Arkansas.

These are all MEM rigs made in france. They are designed for soft wood, and have to work hard to deal with Tasmanian hard wood.

Hi I also operate a primultini 4 head carriage with a slant band and a canter . I also operate a MEM twin band twin canter end dog setup. I cut Black Butt Spotted Gum and Iron Bark mainly. Both machines eat it like it’s butter😊👍

How much m3 per day this mill pump out? I'm a machine operator in New Zealand we cut pine, Douglas fir, Macrocarpa, and most recently cut some western red cedar blocks brought in from Canada. Any more footage of this mill operating?

Can that carriage undog and turn the log on the way back? I use to operate a headrig similar but different carriage. We used to turn the log and dog it so we didn't have to stop the carriage.

I was a head sawdoctor for Boral Timber back in the eighties and nineties. Our headrig was an 8 foot air strain McDonough. These Mem machines look real good and what a great sawmill you have. Are you using stellite or swage tooth?
@paulver11
@paulver11 7 жыл бұрын
Antoon The headrig has been using stellite for some time now, and we are just changing over the twinsaws from swaged tooth.

paulver11 You must have a good Sawdoctor, they are hard to find with hardwood experience.

This mill gives a irrational impression with logs half porcessed flying back and forth. The continuity seems so be nowhere. That my impression.
