Absolutely beautiful slabs. I totally agree that the chainsaw mills are versatile and fun, although stabbing with the big 661 tends to tighten my back in good shape

How far North in Sweden would and Oak that size grow?

Pretty far actually. We live a few hours north of Stockholm, right at the border for naturally occuring oak trees that grow in the forest. But you can still find plenty of oak further north, but they usually grow as yard trees.

@@backstromwoodwork566 Thanks for that. I remember hitchiking through that part of Sweden about 30 years ago ! I have seen little pockets of Oak trees quite far North in Eastern Finland.
