Good video Dave, thanks for the shout out, that was great. The pine was decent, you end up with some nice boards. I'll let you know when to p/u the truck for next sponsored video, any make you prefer?

Good job there Dave with that half of the log…now let’s see what you did or going to do with the other half. Man I new I should have sent you that new truck…😂

Thanks Steve. There's still time for the truck. BTW......there is no "other half". The half I got was the only half I got.

Was that from one side of a double trunk. I'm surprised it produced nice boards.

It WAS from a double trunk. I was hoping for better boards but will take what I can.

The burning question is why did the pine split?
@TheOldManAndTheSaw4 ай бұрын
Wind, rain and emotional issues.

@@TheOldManAndTheSaw oh right, pine emotions just branch in all directions lol...

George, the truth is that the other half blew down in a wind storm a few days prior.

Your mill doesn't have the drag back? We went to Woodsman's yesterday and I was noticing how the drag back narrows the throat of the mill.
@TheOldManAndTheSaw4 ай бұрын
No it doesn't. And. Yes it does. I'd LOVE to get the drag back and, maybe someday, I will. I don't know how much you lose in the throat height but I'm guessing it's a lot.
