That kind of power plants were used in Finland before the ll WW in small saw mills. Bigger used steam power. The gas had 80 % of woods primary energy.

@@markusscholz5683 I don´t know any companies, but surely you can find some from the internet. For small domestic use those systems need too much work. You have also to clean filters quite often. It would be easier if someone would combine wood gasifier and stirling engine.

Would it be possible to recycle the exhaust gasses from the engine back onto the gassifier unit to reduce emissions of CO? Maybe through some type of condenser and pump condensate into a coil inside the heat reaction vessel to be re burned?

Hello Jason Burguess, In principle this is possible, but the energy content of the gas that is fed back into the engine would decrease, thus reducing the power output.
