Interesting it seems Ronnie Cuber is playing a low Bb baritone in the 1965 Lionel Hampton video

Very interesting. Bud sad that the very great bari player Sahib Shihab, who is soloing, after Cecil Payne on "Ray's idea" is omitted. In my opinion Shihab was a far better baritone player than Cecil Payne.

Terrible boring. Nothing new for anyone knowing anything about the baritone saxophone. Frank Basiles is reading from Wikipedia. But misses great baritonists like Jack Washington, Bob Gordon, Jack Nimitz, Serge Chaloff, Jerome Richardson, Danny Bank, Sahib Shihab, Swedish baritone player Lars Gullin, British player Ronnie Ross.
