Musclehead was firm that he wouldnt let Babyface play on his sound. He said afterwards, 'Imagine a man play on my sound and win.' Same thing happened to Addies in Manchester when they played Stereophonic but Tappa Dan invited Babyface to play on Stereophonic so the clash could finish fairly. It wasn't Saxon's fault that the promoter gave Addies a jumpan to play on, but if Addies had been given a proper sound Babyface would have destroyed them.

Bodyguard dub boxes didn't all clear customs so they didn't have all their tune ... saxon won the dance due to their set sounding clearer

Saxon won . Kebra negus played the best combinations. I was there next to kebra negas set. fools getting excited cause they never heared addis or body guard before. Body Guard get the real gun shot in the dance. 1988 they came leicester with ninja man junior cat and Super cat.. biased crowd. Cause kebra negas played on there own set they got kicked out . And Saxon had 5 man from nasty love helping to play there sound plus they originally agreed that Addis Would play on Saxon but on the day muscle head & Denis said No so when face dropped he's dubs they didn't sound as heavy as Saxon which by the way had hired bass boxes And left Addis to play on a sound that didn't have enough stacks of boxes for that venue .. Saxon must of had about 100 boxes & that makes a big difference in a clash... Addis won the clash & they battered Saxon couple days later in Bermuda .. That's why Saxon have never won anything sence & have stopped clashing.. I use to follow Saxon & coxsone in the 80s into the 90s but muscle sacked Trevor ranks or sax & as I here it is demanding £10.000 a clash 🧐 No wonder Saxon has gone down hill & on & off the road Saxon like coxsone used to be grate sounds but cheating greed lies back stabbing & fuckrie just mashed up everything .

Baby Face wanted to play on Saxon but Saxon wouldn't let him as Baby face bad mouth them too much and always use badness when his in New York. Kebra Negas dubs wasn't killer dubs and it was the first time most of the people heard of that sound.
