As a saxophonist who literally just stopped playing the Creston sonata like 10 minutes ago, this is too accurate. Especially the blasting of a low Bb, there's something relieving about it.

@@hectormackie3654 Well technically there’s actually five. With any of the three main right hand keys working in combination with a b natural fingering to flatten by a semitone. Though, many people don’t know about it cause it’s hardly ever shown in manuals and there isn’t really a practical use that the other fingerings can’t do better. Anyways, have fun playing.

As a half? Saxophonist lol, this is accurate! I started playing alto sax for jazz band in I think December of 2021. My director called me out and told me to play. I originally play flute and piccolo, with no jazz experience, the change was a bit of a challenge but I’m glad I did it for jazz band! Still play the other my main instruments for symphony band, and other things.
