Also love how they finally made a video that addressed the fact that their a sing along band... lol they've been needing one to compliment that fact. They are the only band I've ever seen live that people know every single word too haha

This is one of Say Anything's best songs, and the album isn't even out yet. It's got everything: social commentary, gorgeous scathing lyrics (that DO make sense), and it's catchy as all get out. Plus hearing Max scream "BURN AMERICA" is one of the most chill-inducing things I've ever heard.
@Livfersure13 жыл бұрын
I like this song more and more each time I listen to it. I think that's the thing about Say Anything songs, I think they're mostly an acquired taste.

from what i can tell this seems much more similar to 'is a real boy' theres more angst in it, and to me and thats largely what defines say anything, along with the awesome lyrics. hope so see some of you guys at the concerts!

Yeah I agree with a lot of people about telling old from new SA... Its like Maynard said once, "If I can't heal from my own art, how can I expect you as a listener to heal from my art?"
@DominatedSodaCan13 жыл бұрын
I didn't know whether I liked it at first or not, but it quickly grew on me. While I don't understand some lyrics yet, it is a brilliant songs and definitely stands out among the rest of SA's library. Stop comparing it to other albums, it's its own self. I'm looking forwards to the rest of album! Keep it up Bemis!

@rdepfer He has said in interviews that this album is supposed to be a successor to ...Is a Real Boy but that album was written by a depressed/psychotic Max... basically a completely different person. Now that he's happy, married, and Christian it feels like he's also lost his muse.
