Im not sure I agree with the fact that if the numbers on twitch are low. The game is dying or dead. A lot of games have low numbers on twitch, but a lot of ppl still play the game. I just think that watching the Finals might not be fun so the view count may be down. I still think its ppl jumping in and playing the game. I do agree that they need to work on get more eyes on the game and also they need to work on getting the meta toned down a little. Great vid and good talking points hope they continue to work on the game and bring new modes as well.

The Finals does not have much lower viewership compared to Baldur's Gate 3 and we know for a fact Baldur's Gate 3 have a ton of people playing that game. And if he is going purely by people watching games as a criteria of how good/popular it is, or how strong it is going, Apex has 23k viewers right now.... The Finals has 32k concurrent players at the moment with the all-time peak being 49k and is in the top 27 games on Steam. The game is trying to break in an already saturated market. Of course it will have a tough time catching on.

Twitch numbers isn’t the scale it was just what started the conversation since that’s what I was streaming on I also spoke about steam number drops in this video and stated it’s also because a lot of good games are releasing

What we need is more gamemodes. Me and my friends have a ton of fun with this game, and even the none competitive ones. The main thing I like it for is it actually does constant balancing. Games like apex update or fix issues once every 3 months or so, whereas in Finals, we get update after update.

definitely spittin on the point about marketing & events loll. also more maps to the destructive environment is like the bread & butter of the game so I feel like if they dropped some new game modes & maps with different things to engage with then it might start creating new kinds of clips to share, which could bring players back 🔥ALSO AYYYY RIO BACK 🔥

yea i think this first season was way too long, even the starter pack they were selling at launch is still in the store. this game loads up really quickly and u can usually find a game instantly, they need to focus on that swiftness and make everything follow that theme imo.

This game needs a better social experience. The gameplay and the game itself is just too demanding for a pre made team. And theres no social environment in it. I cant even see my online friends if they are in a match or not. They need to update the menus and the profiles like for us to find specific players for a pre made team

Well, the point about the game name is really personal and pointless. I mean, PUBG is a stupid name too, but it was and it is a known title. In general, you right about other things. Game has a low marketing and has low amount of content in it with a REALLY long season. I've finished my battlepass 3-4 weeks ago and almost stopped playing the game. Ranked is unplayable for solos, everyone just using same weapons, same strats, same gadjets, etc. You'r just playing the same matches over and over again. The Finals deffinetly need MUCH more constant content for different types of players, since even in normal matches, half of players are just high cd chads. It's too hard for a regular players. Also, personally for me, The Finals, for the game with a Fortnite style of character customisation, has a SHIT shop. Shop rotation once a week? You serious? Warzone doing it once in 3 days and getting millions! I don't think that game is really going to die, since such games as Hunt or Smite has 10-30k players for years and they are still can give a smoke to other projects. But Embar for sure must change their marketing, balance, and content release plans

Comparing it to Apex which is a highly competitive game is not accurate at all.. People play Finals for fun, the ranked system in Finals is lame and not competitive at all.. you dont have to be good to be diamond, just grind alot of hours into it and youre there.. lame. Matchmaking sucks too, as a plat player myself ive been queued up with brons and silver players countless times against diamond players, lame. The soloqueuer especially suffers from this. The heavy nukes is the most unskilled bs ive ever seen and they use it till they get diamond and call themselves "good players", medium literally has a wallhack. Lights invis cloack can be argued about but i think thats the least of all the things mentioned, but still have 2 lights in your team and you lose. Kills dont matter. If you want a game like this to succeed, it has to have esport potential, currently not there at all. Maybe after a few seasons, if they can manage their updates well.
