I understand the importance of moving out and having adventures. No doubts over that. But generalising that it is absolutely compulsary to leave your home town and shift to a completely new culture and city for your growth is not necessarily true. I mean you can achieve same results with travelling and connecting with people from different cultures and ideologies. I feel it's more important to be financially independent and to have the choice of freedom to move or reside anywhere. But beyond that you can't say that everyone has a toxic relationship with their parents. There are multiple possible scenarios you haven't even considered. One could have really healthy relationship with his parents and still go on adventures or even chose to live with them. I believe in joint family myself. And many people may have sick or old parents, they may be suffering and their child having adventures of his life. I am not judging anyone but just expressing my view point on this. I do think that it's extremely crucial to have liberty and autonomy. Actually, it's a question of balance. I think an intellectual like you shouldn't generalise this scenario for everyone. But it's great advice nonetheless.

I have had this approach (at times, not consistently) to look for something to learn when I am in a boring or uncomfortable situation. It is a wonderful approach but make sure you aren’t forgetting to listen to your heart. Push yourself against your real will for growth but do it at a sustainable pace. Because there is a risk of losing your natural spark and joy of life. People with very difficult experiences can become stoic and lose vitality of life. So I feel that Shwetabh’s message is an important one as we generally tend to stay in our comfort zones instead of touching the other extreme. But yes, we need to be aware of the need to manage stress.

I know I have all the battles left to fight but i know I have the mindset to fight everything that will come in front of me. I don't think it's a thing to comment here but my kitty is missing from this evening. And I don't understand how to handle it . I try a lot to find him calling by his name loudly near the area. I have some doubt about my neighbouring kids i don't know what to do . I can't express how I'm feeling right now.

What if we miss the most precious moments at our home town with parents, family, friends, and social circle, In search of "growth"!!! and feel worthless later on ki moments bhi miss kari aur paaya bhi kuch nahi!! Ye bhi ek perspective hai.... I lived in 3 cities for 6 years and Personally, I feel the life should be lived to the fullest, Aur wo waali feel home town me hi aati hai. Ek hi life hai aur wo parents aur home feel ke bina kaat li to kya jeeye? If your wife and children didn't get a chance to get along with your parents and siblings.. if you don't celebrate festivals with loved ones.. If you don't feel that unconditional vibes around you, what's the benefit of such growth???
