Both of these issues can be found in the US too! I’m a British Jamaica, live in the US now and in Hartford, CT where I lived, NY, NJ and in Houston, TX where i live now, customer service and running out of food before 5 pm are the biggest issues. Patties, jerk, oxtail, rice and peas run out quick, quick! and the chefs don’t adapt.

listen I am a cat for jerk chicken so much so I’ve managed to master my own at home jerk without the jerk pan obvs nothing beats the jerk pan, but listen yardie you have to check out tasty jerk in south Norwood I was catting for a piece of jerk and hard dough bread I went there my god they was winning. Also back in the day I used to go to this stall in nine elms market they would have the corn on the cobs going right next to the chicken I haven’t been there in years I think they are still there you should defo try one of these places
