The voice for sure, the guitar is kind of weak the original song is very well arpeggiated but this is only a beginner strumming progression this has a lot more potential. .

@@ZeeboTheDragon I thought that was pretty constructive criticism I wasn't trying to be mean I genuinely liked his voice he is very talented. If you listen to the song the guitar plays all of the cords out in an arpeggio fashion but he just strummed the chords which is the exact same thing I used to do when I was a beginner. And just like him somebody told me that I was simplifying chords. I actually left a comment saying that I would be happy to make a guitar part for him because I think he has so much potential. I will try to go about it a little more positively next time genuinely. who Would I be if I gave him constructive criticism and then not follow it myself

Thanks TJ, and he was one of my favorite writers and singers ever. For the last 10 yrs though in my walk with the Lord Jesus, I have found great singers like yourself and Seventh Day Slumber, Red, are some of the one I enjoy most.I can't wrap my head around that Chris would take his own life. One thing is certain about Chris, his music and talent will live on. Great job with this song. Just striking that they made this song for the former member of Mother Love Bone that died and hit home to many Seattle bands. I lived there at the time. He will be missed and thanks TJ for this. Beautiful interpretation ,man! I love the way you add the 7th notes to the A and C chords. Gives it a more melodic sound.
